Smart Camp Boosts Struggling Learners, Teachers, & Principals
Summer will come and go, but where will your struggling learners be as the new school year begins?
If they attend Smart Camp, they will be better equipped to succeed as school starts – and so will their teachers and principals. JBHM Education Group has launched the five-week Smart Camp program to help struggling learners overcome barriers, gain confidence and motivation, organize thinking, accelerate learning, and experience success. The camps are geared to the content area needs of students in grades three through eight.
JBHM Education Group’s struggling learner specialists will partner with teachers in identifying content gaps, analyzing data to diagnose problems, designing and implementing specific instructional interventions, and monitoring student progress toward success. Each Smart Camp will begin with three full days of teacher training, and JBHM specialists will support teachers on-site throughout the 22 days students attend. A four-day Smart Camp Leadership Institute can be added to improve school and district administrators' understanding of instruction and resources that supports specific struggling learner needs.
